He has held this position since March 2012, making him the youngest consultant surgeon at Imperial College London at the time. Dr. Hakky is highly skilled in abdominal laparoscopic surgery with expertise in both general surgery (including cancerous and benign conditions) and weight loss surgery. His areas of focus include complex hernia repairs, revision hernia procedures, hiatal hernia repairs, biliary and gallbladder removal surgeries. Thanks to his skill and capable team, Dr. Hakky is one of the few in the field who offer hernia repairs under local anesthesia with same-day discharges. In addition his expertise in bariatric surgery, includes sleeve gastrectomies and gastric bypass surgeries with a unique skillfullness in revision surgeries and bariatric complications.
